Future priorities and reforms over Macedonia's Euro-Integration and improvements towards increased use of IPA funds in the country were in the focus of Wednesday's meeting of the Finance Ministry leadership with an European Commission delegation led by Ambassador Samuel Zbogar.
The EC officials voiced support to the Government's reform priorities aimed at integrating the country into the Union, the Finance Ministry said in a press release. EC welcomed the ministry's commitment to swiftly draft the strategy for public funds' management, where priority would be given to fiscal consolidation and transparency in publishing budget data.
"In addition, the EC continues its support in launching a fresh cycle of the Economic Reform Program, which is one of the leading documents in Macedonia's pre-accession process", reads the press release.
