SDSM must give up the Tirana platform and the realization of all elements it contains, and VMRO-DPMNE will give them support to form government. If Zoran Zaev still believes the Tirana platform elements should be accepted, then in order not to cross the citizens, he should go on new parliamentary election along with local, and include the platform’s changes in his agenda and program and let citizens decide, said VMRO-DPMNE in a press release.
According to the ex-ruling party, the Tirana platform is highly problematic for the country, and that was confirmed by Zijadin Sela’s statement, who at one election rally said that “in the regional ministries in Struga, there will not be 20 percent of Albanians employed, but rather 65 percent, and that Macedonians will be laid off as a result of redundancy.” Sela, the party said, is the man on whom the future parliamentary majority of SDSM will depend, and this statement is the exact agenda he will realize if they win the mandate.
“Zaev has chosen between the interests of the majority of Macedonians and these intentions of Sela, who wants to chase all Macedonians out of Struga, lay them off as redundancy. That same Zijadin Sela openly denies Macedonian people and identity and says there were no Macedonians some 100 years ago. He does not recognize the Macedonian flag and anthem and wants to change it,” read the press release.
The silence of SDSM and Zaev, regarding these types of statements in the past period, according to VMRO-DPMNE, shows that SDSM and Zaev are ready to lead a Tirana-backed government based on the grounds of another country’s platform, under the dictatorship of a foreign prime minister.
The man who shamelessly opened the door to debate and fight the Macedonian identity, as well as federalization of the country, is the abolished Zoran Zaev. The debate began its realization, followed by the open negotiations for federalization with Peter Vanhoutte, under threats of Albanian MP Mesilla Doda, that if Zaev rejects the platform, then all Albanians will focus on making their Republic of Ilirida come true.
